Observing the Observers... Map, Directions, Hours An exhibition
by MIT Artists-in-Residents MIT Compton Gallery, MIT Building 10, Room 250, 77 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, Massachusetts (map below) Location: The Compton Gallery is under the main MIT dome at 77 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The gallery is next to the "Infinite Corridor". Enter at 77 Mass Ave, climb the steps, enter the doors and walk straight ahead across the large entrance hall into 'The Infinite Corridor'. Where the corridor gets wider with windows on the right, turn left. The Compton Gallery is at the end of this short side corridor and it should be visible from the Infinite Corridor. Subway: Central Square (red line) is on Mass Ave., walk towards Boston on Mass Ave to 77 Mass Ave. You can also go to Kendall Square (red line), but the route through MIT is more complicated (hint: go to the List Visual Arts Center first, and ask for directions).
